Black out drapery

I have never had a problem sleeping. I could fall asleep anywhere, anytime it was bedtime; lately both Rick and I are having problems falling asleep and staying asleep. We have noticed with the latest houses being built they put in waay too many windows and we have one wall of windows too many. The outside lights from the house next door and the street lamps made our bedroom too bright.

I decided to put up black out curtains. I went to 4-5 different stores looking for best prices and selections and finally decided upon Kohl's for the curtains and Home Depot for the rod. I bought a polished brass that I loved, but after Rick installed it I decided I would rather have had the antique white. It was time consuming to put it yet still Rick said I'll change it. I said, it's up and it's staying up.

I had gotten the 84" for length, but then wondered if I wanted the 105". Kohl's didn't stock the longer length so I ordered 6, cost $300. After they were shipped Rick and I decided we liked the shorter length better, so now I have 5 (I'm keeping one for the door) curtains to return. Only I'm not returning them to my store because I shop there so much many of the clerks and store managers recognize me. Oh, no, not to the Leander one either, I go there also off and on. I need to find an out of the way Kohl's to return them to and I know just the one to take them to. I'm sure the store manager will be thrilled.

When I was initially buying the curtains my Kohl's didn't stock enough (I ended up with a total of 9, some put on my shipping order) and went to the Leander Kohl's to get one more of the 84". I called there to make sure they had it and asked them to hold it for me.

Notice how my name is spelled: Yavon. And that's why when my dad called his girls Miss Cheryl (Chero), Miss Kris, I got Miss UV (Uvy and then shortened to Miss U).

So today I'll take back 5 curtains. I wonder when these stores will put my name on a Not Allowed To Return list?
