Papaw and an iPad are a girl's best friend

Especially if you can talk Papaw into watching endless Wheels on Bus, Hungry Cats, etc.

Have wheels will travel.

Cacti, cactuses, or cactus

Since I live in Texas I have learned to really love cacti, or cactuses, or cactus. Those all mean the plural of cactus. We have a lot of empty lots around us, so Rick and I have gone for some cactus and rock runs. These are some we dug up and brought home.

Sisters are the best

Stella is ready for dance class, and Macy is ready for a hug.
That grimace is really a smile.
This smile is a little more smilely.

Wow, it has been almost one...

...month since last I blogged. And my goal is at least once a week.
Here's what I've been doing:
Rick and I left for Utah on May 4. We stayed at Paige's and did things with them and the boys, and then Rick left for Indy May 9, and Scott drove me to St George on May 10, Fri. It is my turn to stay with my mom. Gary left on Sat May 11, to go to Idaho and visit Carl, his son.

Jason came out on May 17, Fri, and we stayed with us until Sun, when Chris came and the two of them went to Las Vegas. They took in 2 magic shows, William and Penn and David Copperfield. But their main reason for Vegas was Craps. As in the gambling game. They both find it so much fun they would pay just to get to play it. But, they know their limits and don't cross the line. Jason won $1000 and Chris $350 (or something like that).

Gary got here today, tomorrow I have the Home Health nurse coming over, and we will set up for an aide to come and give mom baths and get ready for bed 4 days a week. Then start having Eva come over for more hours a day, and hopefully that will be enough to give Gary some breaks.

Cheryl, Kristi, and I are just playing this out with mom one step at a time, keeping in close communication. So nice to have sisters.
