10K walk

My walking group meets every Thurs at 10am. I choose different places for us to walk, usually outdoors and at some park or nature trails area. Yesterday we went to Peace Valley Lake; when we reached the point we usually turn around, someone suggested we keep going. It is 6 miles to go all the way around, but everyone was game, except for the mom who had to get back to get her K child to school. We did it in 2 hours, which is picking them up and putting them down (at least for me for 6 miles). So I did a 10K. Yipeeee!!
